The Kentucky-bred son of Mr Speaker hasn't raced since finishing second in an allowance/optional claiming race last November at Churchill Downs. He broke his maiden in his career debut at Arlington Park last September. Sisterson, a former assistant to Doug O'Neill and Todd Pletcher, took out his own trainers license in 2018 and has already achieved multiple graded stakes winning status last year with Arlington Handicap winner Bandua and Chick Lang Stakes winner Lexitonian. The sire Mr Speaker earned more than $1.2 million on the track, notably winning the 2014 Belmont Derby Invitational and the 2015 Commonwealth Cup Stakes at Keeneland. Calumet Farm has produced eight Kentucky Derby winners, and two Triple Crown winners (Whirlaway in 1941 and Citation in 1948) and has produced some of the greatest Thoroughbred horses of all time. Calumet Farm owned 2017 Sunland Derby winner Hence.
